We were delighted once again to be able to work with our clients, the committee of the Canary Wharf Contractors Fund, on their annual charity golf day and what a day it was…
At the stunning venue of The London Golf Club, 45 teams took to the Heritage and International course for a great day of golf, fun and charity fundraising in the sun. On course, the golfers were entertained by magicians, had Slingsby Gin and ice-cream refreshments and were also challenged by our Female PRO golfers, who kept the teams on their toes!
After the golf, an evening of entertainment and further fundraising commenced. All in support of the work that these amazing charities provide: Spread a Smile, Demelza Children’s Hospice, London Air Ambulance, Construction Youth and the Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity. Representatives from each of the charities took to the stage to explain about the vital work they provide, which captured the hearts and gratitude of all.
We were delighted to also have Kevin Keegan at the event, who entertained everyone on the evening with the stories of his incredible football career.
Through the incredible generosity and support from all who attended, the Canary Wharf Contractors Fund are able to continue to support the remarkable work of all their chosen charities through the funds raised at the event!
