We were delighted at the attendance and success of our Women in Construction Golf Day held at the start of the season at the stunning Centurion Club!

A huge thank you to all our newly skilled lady golfers, who made the day such a success! It was a pleasure to meet and have so many ladies from across the industry attend the day!

Promoting and supporting women in construction as well as women in golf is very important to the Lighthouse Golf Club team, especially as we are an all-female team! We are also dedicated to raising vital funds for the fantastic Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity and due to the kind support of our fundraising raffle on the day, we raised nearly £2000 for the charity!

We could not have hosted this day without our wonderful Pro Golfers…thank you Hannah Bowen, Jess Adams, Sophie Stone, and Mark Gregson-Walters for planning such a superb and memorable golf clinic and the time spent to coach and advise our lady golfers! Thanks also to the Skills Centre for sponsoring our Golf Clinic.

It was also a pleasure to have Breath and Cold-Water Therapist Anna Gough join us to speak and host a breathing session too. Thank you, Anna, for sharing your experience and advice and making us all relaxed! A final thanks goes to Dirk Odendaal of Odendaal Diamonds for donating a stunning pair of diamond earrings for our star raffle prize…and congratulations to Sophie Holdrick, who will be dazzling the Lynch offices with her new earrings!

Due to the success of this day, we are delighted to be working with Natalie Ryan, the Regional Ambassador of the Lighthouse Charity for Ireland, to host another fantastic Inclusive Ladies Golf Day in Ireland. On 13th October, we will be at the stunning Carton House, County Kildare, Ireland. For further information or to register for the day please visit www.lighthousegolfclub.com or see the link below:
