A huge thank you to everyone who attended the Scotland North Lighthouse Golf Day on 13th May 2022.
At Newburgh Golf Club ‘a hidden gem’ situated on the Aberdeenshire coast, a fantastic day of golf, networking, fundraising and a tipple of Scotland’s finest Glenmorangie Scotch was enjoyed! Due to the amazing generosity of our guests and sponsors, approximately £6000 was raised for the Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity. As Mark Everett (Hon Vice President for the charity) explained at the event, the charity relies on the generosity of those within the industry to help continue this vital work, so it is greatly appreciated!
We would also like to say another big thank you to the staff at the Newburgh on Ythan Golf Club for looking after us all so well, Scott Ellis for hosting a great Par 3 Challenge, and for the sponsorship provided by Breedon Group, ACO Water Management and PDM Buildbase. We would also like to thank all the further companies and persons, who supported the day by donating prizes and auction items including WM Donald LTD, Speyside Scaffolding, Heather Foley and Colin Watson. Also, thank you to James from the golf club, who kindly stepped in to host our Beat the Pro Challenge!
